Splendour weekend. How could we not tell you a story based around this right of passage to Byron Bay. Whether it was from 10 years ago of just the past weekend gone, we thought we would muse a Splendour Morning.
You wake up to the sun beaming on your sliding bedroom door, slightly dazed you begin reminiscing of the night before. The glitz and glory and the music is still beating in your ears. Its the middle of winter, but it's Byron, it's never too cold with that winter sun and still air. The pool calls, you head down and take the dive into ice cold water to wash off yesterday and re-set for the next. You take a moment to soak up the vitamin D and gain a slight glow. You bask on your retro banana lounge and consider how awesome life is. You shower off in your delirium and head back to the apartment fresh as a daisy ready for the big day ahead. You remind yourself that 'life is short' and the excitement and wonderment of what the day will bring, begins all over again.
