Delta of Venus

The Easter break is upon us and the weather is cosy. The water temp is still just bearable but once you're out, there's nothing better than getting into the relaxed zone with some creature comforts and decent reading material.
A long time muse of many and a celebrated voice for women, sexuality & feminism is heroine Anaïs Nin.
Her novels, journals and short stories take you to a place both eroticism in a female language and on a journey of self discovery through the complexities of being both single, married, a mistress, an intellect, artist and simply a woman.
Having been shunned from the mainstream early in her career, it only came in the late 1960s where the feminist movement started to emerge... and she was applauded in both media and universities alike.
Anaïs is now regarded as one of the most influential novelists of the 20th century and left a legacy that will live forever - definitely an incredible source of inspiration if you're looking for it.
